Sarah Burns Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica!
September 18 -25, 2022
This fall, journey to the Caribbean beaches of Costa Rica for a week-long yoga retreat. Just past the town of Puerto Viejo, we will stay in the rainforest bungalows of Tierra de Sueños Yoga Lodge.

On this retreat, we do not aim to escape or to simply work out, but instead to work in:
To connect, to rejuvenate, and to refresh.

A Chance to Work In
CONNECT
Rebalance yourself with daily yoga practice and healthy, delicious meals.
Meet new, like-minded friends while you experience a new culture.
REJUVENATE
Pump up your practice with individual attention and fun, specialized workshops.
Indulge your inner child—or adrenaline junkie—and discover the wonders of our beautiful, tropical setting.
REFRESH
Refill your cup with meditation and mindfulness practices, and learn (or relearn) skills to help back at home.
Step away from the hustle and bustle by retreating to a private, quiet rain forest sanctuary.
Pura Vida
A phrase you will hear all over Costa Rica is Pura Vida. It literally means 'pure life' or 'simple life'.
It's used to say, This is Living!

On lush rain forest grounds, we will be a five-minute walk from the Playa Chiquita beach. Monkeys, sloths, toucans, and more inhabit the area, and you will hear the wildlife all around you. You can spend the day relaxing in hammocks at the lodge and lazing in the sun at the beach, or you can take in all the adventure that southeastern Costa Rica has to offer. We will be a quick drive (6km) from the awesome town of Puerto Viejo, with its own beaches, shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

The Lodge
Tierra de Suenos is an environmentally-conscious 'eco-lodge'. They use minimal chemicals, manage their water and waste, and care for the health of the land and wildlife. I have seen sloths, monkeys, and huge butterflies on the grounds themselves. Temperatures in the area stay between 73-86 degrees year-round, and the temperatures cool off in the evening.

Rooms: Shared or Single Occupancy
We will be sleeping in beautiful bungalows, each with private showers and bathrooms. The bungalows are open-air (rest assured, they have roofs and walls), with fans and great ventilation; every bed has mosquito-netting for comfort.
-
7 standard bungalows designed for two people, each with their own bed
-
1 family-sized bungalow with an upstairs/downstairs, designed for four people
Meals:
-
Three vegetarian, locally sourced-meals prepared each day, organic as often as is possible. TdS will offer poultry or fish to the group every other evening.
