My Teaching Experience
Dozens of teachers certified.
Hundreds of classes led.
Thousands of students taught.
In January of 2014, my best friend dragged me, kicking and screaming, to a hot yoga class early on a Saturday morning in northeast Louisiana. I spent an hour flopping around like a fish -- and I was absolutely hooked!

Since getting certified in 2014 (RYT-200), I have seen yoga benefit students from all walks of life, of all ages, body types, and abilities. In my role as a teacher and a studio coordinator, I have not only taught regular classes, I have also worked one-on-one with individuals to address their personalized physical and emotional needs.
I have taught at youth empowerment retreats for underprivileged schools; coached athletes, in a variety of competitive sports at the high school, college, and semi-professional levels; and I have guided wellness and mindfulness sessions to Fortune 100 clients. As a training facilitator, I certified dozens of students to become teachers themselves, and I have mentored many others in their professional development.
Everybody has a yoga body. In some capacity, whether in the body or the mind or both, yoga can benefit all of us. What I have experienced in my own life, on and off my mat, I want to share with others.
